UNICEF

United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund

UNICEF began to help children directly after the end of the Second World War At the beginning it wasn't an organization but an international fund for children needing help. In December 1965, UNICEF won the Nobel Peace Prize.

Since 1946, UNICEF is an organization that really tries to help children around the world, to take care of their health, to give them an education and time to play, to protect them from child labor, to teach gender equality and to simply give them a good life. UNICEF is active in more than 190 countries and territories.

UNICEF is a special organization because it's an organization with a lot of partners who sell booklets, pencils, and similar products to UNICEF and the organization gives them to children.

Education is a human right; UNICEF gives an education with no difference between boys and girls.  UNICEF encourages young people to speak out and take decisions that affect their live.

People should donate to this organization because with the raised money, a lot of children can go to school with a booklet and a pencil, they can be vaccinate and be protected from child work. These three reasons to give money are important enough because they are the base of children's life and rights. Everyone can show a little bit of solidarity, and every penny can help a child (the quantity is not very important, the desire to help is most important).

The money will go specifically to children’s education, health and protection. The money will go all around the world.
