Oxfam International





A little bit history to start the presentation:

In 1995, a group of independent nongovernmental organizations created Oxfam International to fight against poverty and injustice in the world.


Oxfam International, what is it?!

This organization is special, because it groups many organizations that are associated in a bigger one. Oxfam International acts in over 90 countries, which needs its help.


What does Oxfam International do to help?

Oxfam International delivers assistance to people, who are victims of natural disasters or political conflicts quickly after the calamity. They do this by feeding, healing and helping people rebuild their home.

They also play a role in politics by putting pressure on corrupted politicians.


Why is this organization special?

Oxfam International is special because it works directly with the people involved in disasters. Over the 5 continents and in more than 90 countries its help is being given.

  1. I vote for this organization because I think it's a very useful one which helps people who are in a REALLY urgent situation quickly and directly . It also helps people to rebuild their life so they can carry on their own and be independent . Good Job! :)
